alone with 10 million people

it is 3:00 in the afternoon and I am sitting in a bistro near Times Square savoring a glass of wine, some time to write and the delicious freedom of having nowhere to be, no one to answer to and nobody who needs anything from me this very moment. is it so wrong that part of me never wants it to end?
