Hissho Sushi is changing the way people think about grab-and-go meals, offering a fresh, healthy option and a truly premium experience. They wanted to make a splash at the year’s biggest conference for the dairy, deli and bakery industry and needed some creative ideas for the event, as well as a branding upgrade that would catch the eye of their target retailers and consumers, alike, and get them excited to join the Sushi Revolution. I led the development of new brand assets, collateral and the environment for the event — from space design down to new chef jackets — as well as carrying that look and feel through to a new website.

What started as an engagement to create a badge and booth for an event turned into a complete re-brand. We started with moodboards that could inspire graphic design elements, as well as the event space itself.

Roles: Creative Direction, Design

As the project evolved, so did the scope and the color palette. The event badge hit the mark of being edgy, while the new brand logo balanced it out with clean, modern lines and a more elegant feel.

A handcrafted VIP gift featured both new design elements and premium swag. And an event booth, complete with space for a DJ gave Hissho's presence the party feel they were looking for.
