four.

cannot believe Miss Girl had another birthday this weekend! god, i must be getting old. we celebrated her fourth with all the appropriate fanfare, including nearly 20 friends, a bounce house and cupcakes. and of course some adult beverages for the mommies and daddies.

after weeks of discussion, we finally settled on a Pajamas in the Park theme, which meant tons of jammie cuteness all around. and so. much. pink. love, love, loved the invites and decorations i picked up at minted.com. awesome quality and great customer service. goodie bags included flashlights, glow-in-the-dark slime, bubbles and color-coordinated (obvs!) M&Ms. a couple Publix deli trays, popcorn, Goldfish, veggie sticks and some Froot Loops rounded out the snacks table (3:00-5:00, so we didn’t need anything too heavy), along with lemonade and plenty of juice boxes and water.

basically, the kids went crazy running the park, bouncing and generally being rowdy and adorable. i Martha Stewarted it all as best i could, but damn if i didn’t have the timing so down to the wire that i didn’t really get any glamour shots of the set up before folks arrived. or actually take any really good photos, period. oh well. this isn’t my day job for a reason. and a good time was had by all, which is all that really matters in the end!
