if it’s a day in April, it must be someone’s birthday in this household. after the whole four extravaganza, i was honestly too mentally exhausted to even think about Spy’s birthday today. and no, there will definitely not be a celebration or post for Parker’s birthday on Wednesday. i did at least manage to throw together an edible dinner (barely. why on earth would anyone sell frozen shrimp shell on??) and pick up a cake from the Publix bakery (omg. sooooo yum.). luckily, these two accomplishments kept me at goddess level in both The Hubs’ and Miss Girl’s eyes. i figure for 50, which is around the bend closer than anyone wants to admit i’m sure, i will actually pull it together and do something goddess-status-worthy. i’ve got a couple years to plan, right?
