Spy is 6 hours ahead. i have a lot of weekend unfinished business and a business trip i’m missing. Miss Girl has an epic upcoming “Fall Break” (aka four-fucking-count-them-i-dare-you weekdays off). things are about to get cray-cray around here.
or not. we can all have a panic attack. (my go to reaction, of course . . . someone, please pass the Xanax.) or we can decide what’s important. and that, that is the key to making everything important happen in this next 10 days for me. work, working out, writing (a lot — more soon on that) and being an amazing adequate single mom. every day isn’t going to be perfect, much as i try, but this week, i’m all about the sentiment of doing what i can and being proud of that. so here’s to a good week for all of us who can at least just keep on keepin’ on!
