the Polish/German version of this dish mixes a good helping of my husband is traveling again with equal parts of there are a thousand leftovers in the fridge and i’m going to enjoy being lazy. throw in a dash of 9 more pounds to go, so who really needs a whole meal for dinner every night, anyway? and season to taste. seriously, one of my favorite dishes. will be enjoying this one many times over the next 10 days, so there most likely won’t be a Sunday Supper post next weekend, either. Miss Girl and i will see what else we can cook up in this space while we’re holding down the fort. in the meantime, bon appétit!
