so excited that another case arrived from Naked Wines arrived last week! not excited about the hideous black and blue marks on my arms from hauling the hulking box from office to car on Friday, determined that come hell or high water, i would have it for the weekend. i look like an NFL girlfriend. but i digress . . .
i went with the BBQ Case this time, thinking a mix of white, pink and red felt appropriate for the transition from summer to fall. this one has at least one old familiar friend from last time (the Jacqueline Bahue Rosé i loved so much — yum!), along with some newbies. i also got a free bottle of S&A Cabernet to try just for being me (?). i am still just absolutely loving these guys for their customer service and promos as much as their selection. and this time, with my $80 angel investment credit, i took home 13 bottles for about $150. definitely a great price for what i know will be some super tasty bottles.
so far, i’ve only had a chance to crack open the Small and Small Sauvingnon Blanc. it’s a quintessential New Zealand Sauv Blanc — crisp and light with some citrus hints. so obvs i loved every delicious little sip. this one definitely goes on my list of wines to buy again.
