so sad to say i have finally reached the bottom of the box! finished up all my Naked Wines this week and definitely ended on a high note.
like i said last week, i was down to “the sweet ones.” and just like last week, the last lonely bottle was an incredibly nice surprise. the Jacqueline Bahue Gewurztraminer is a lovely, drier than expected white that’s got some floral hints. it was fantastic really cold and by itself at juice time, but i can also see it going great with seafood or Thai.
several weeks ago, i really enjoyed the Jacqueline Bahue Rosé from the big box, so maybe i’ve found a winemaker i can latch onto. looks like she’s got a couple more whites and a red i should probably try. though i’m tempted just to order another Poolside Sippers to finish out the summer with! such hard decisions . . .
